Contact us

Do you have a part that is no longer available, is broken, or needs to be modified? Submit your request with photos or files. We will review and assess which approach is best: 3D scanning, CAD, reverse engineering, or production.

You can also contact us for a general question, a business project, or an idea for a community project.

The more information you provide, the better we can assess what the right approach is.
Preferably upload multiple photos from different angles. A sketch, dimensions, STL, STEP, or other file is also acceptable.

We have already made over 30 parts possible again.

Is your part the next one?

What can you send along?

For a good assessment, we do not always need a complete technical file right away. With clear photos and a brief explanation, we often make significant progress.

Photos of the part

Take photos from multiple angles. Detail photos of breaks, attachments, connection surfaces, and fitting surfaces are very helpful for assessment.

Dimensions and application

Provide overall dimensions, the vehicle or machine, and what the part is used for. This helps with material selection and production method.

Purpose and quantities

Indicate whether you need one part, want to make a small series, or want to gauge interest through a community project.

Need help?

Below you will find answers to frequently asked questions about requests, parts, and our working method.

Can I also ask a general question?

Yes. You do not need to have a complete request right away. Even if you are still unsure about the approach, you can simply get in touch.

What exactly do you do?

We design, reconstruct, and produce parts for cars and industry: from unavailable replacement parts to custom upgrades and new designs.

What do I need to provide?

Please send clear photos, dimensions, vehicle or application, and a brief explanation of the problem or desired part.

How do community projects work?

Some parts are too expensive to develop for one person. By pooling interest, development costs can be shared, making production more feasible.

How much does it cost to get a part made?

This varies by part. We look at complexity, material, finish, and quantities. You will always receive a clear estimate or quote first.

Do you also accept business requests?

Yes. We also assist companies with prototypes, small series, reverse engineering, and parts for which no drawings or digital files are available.

Can you help without a 3D file?

Yes. That is often the starting point. We can work from an existing part, photos, measurements, a scan, or a combination of these.

What is the delivery time?

It depends on the type of project. Small parts can often be picked up quickly. Custom work, reverse engineering, or community projects usually take more time.

Are my data and files safe?

Yes. Your data and any provided files are treated confidentially and used only for your request or project.

Work by appointment

Retrix originated from a practical workshop approach: starting small, developing smartly, and choosing the right production method for each project.

We usually assess requests based on photos and information first. Depending on the project, a part can be sent, dropped off, or viewed on-site.

Partner location and larger projects

For larger scanning and development projects, we collaborate with a partner location in Balkbrug. There we can use a fully equipped garage and workspace.

  • Assessment based on photos possible
  • Scanning or measuring by appointment
  • Suitable for larger automotive and technical parts
  • Also possible for business and small series projects
